After months of hard work, planning and fund raising premises, toys, and equipment were acquired and in August 1995
Gwent Social Services issued the registration certificate enabling "Little Peeps" to open for the fIrst time on
September 4th 1995.

Now let me tell you a little about ourselves.

I'm CHRIS MANN the team leader of "Little Peeps" I took over the helm from the founder Linda Hagland in February 2002.

I have been with "Little Peeps" for the last two years and I am very committed to ensuring that all the children receive the pre-school education that they need and deserve, but just as importantly that they enjoy and benefit from the time spent with us. I have qualifications in Management, Business Skills, Counselling Skills and Early Years; I am also a mother of four.

ANGELA is the playgroup leader and has been at "Little Peeps" from the start.

She has got her playgroup Leader Diploma as well as her WPPA (Wales Pre-school Playgroup Association) Basic 1& 2,
together with Special Needs and Challenging Behaviour Qualifications and Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
She is a mother of two and has a natural ability to relate to children.

LISA has gained the WPPA Basic 1 & 2, together with Special Needs and Challenging Behaviour.

She has been with "Little Peeps" from the beginning and enjoys the art and craft side of playgroup.
She also finds time to sing in a local band, as well as being a mother of one.

PHILLIPA has also passed her playgroup Leader Diploma Course. She joined "Little Peeps" in 1998 after her son attended the playgroup. She has a special quality with working with children who may have Special Needs or just need that extra cuddle.

JACKIE is at present taking the CACHE Diploma in play group practise. She is also a mother of two.
