OAKDALE & PENMAEN COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP - OFFICERS MEETING

Chairman

The Chairman opened the meeting by presenting a list of attendance for the original meeting. The object of this was to compare with that of the last meeting and to establish lapsing partnership members.

Logo

The Secretary reported that contact had been made with the three schools and all had accepted whole-heartedly to participate in producing a logo.
It was decided that guidelines be drawn up and presented to the schools.
It was also agreed that £ lOO for each school be raised through sponsorship, with a split of £50 -£30 -£20 ( or at the discretion of the Head Teacher).

Treasurers Report

The Treasurer reported that forms were being processed for establishing a bank account at Lloyds T.S.B.

Launch Date

A launch date was agreed for that of the Library, Partnership, Website and the Book 'Oakdale Then and Now' by Ralph Thomas.

The date is April 17th 2004.

Library Launch April 2nd 2004

The Vice-Chairman voiced concern that not all four officers had received invitations. It was therefore agreed that the Chairman contact Allan Pritchard to establish the reasons as it was minuted in the penultimate paragraph of the partnership minutes that all four be invited.

Leaflet Distribution

The Chairman produced copy for a leaflet distribution to all in the Oakdale and Penmaen community and is to link with the Secretary regarding format.

The meeting concluded at 8.05pm.
