OAKDALE & PENMAEN COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP - OFFICERS MEETING 14th April 2004

Chairman

The Chairman opened the meeting and commented that the general meeting on the previous
Wednesday was considered very successful in terms of content and attendance.

Correspondance

The Secretary read out the content of a letter received from Islwyn Credit Union
offering help and assistance in relation to our need to produce a newsletter.
A discussion took place and it was decided to remain with our current printers but to keep
details on file of the offer.

Partnership Meeting

Roger stated that he was to attend a meeting of the Mid Valley’s East Area and would report
back his findings.

Treasurers Report

Paul reported that the opening of the bank account was in progress and that there was no
urgency at this point in time as start up funds were not yet to hand.

Other General Business

Discussions took place on the following:

1. Presentation to the library.
2. Mike O’Connor bridle route.
3. Boxes and hanging baskets in the village.
4. Visit to Abertysswg.
5. Redgra area booking control on the new flood lit multi-use games facility.
6. Speed humps.
7. Projects for the future.

A comprehensive report will be given on the above as each unfold.

The meeting concluded at 8.09pm.
