We will refuse to release any more funds until we receive the quality of work we deserve. we need to take better control of any further projects. 7. Chairmans Report The Partnership has been running for two years now. We had a good attendance last year. There is a lot to be proud of in this Partnership. We have had visits in the past year off Work & Pensions, United Reform Church, Manmoel riding centre, Bevan boys etc., The newsletter and the website have been very successful, we have had the noticeboard and signposts erected, New Christmas lights, Christmas lunch, Commemorative week, tidying up of Square, flower pots, tubs and planting. Work has also started on the Youth Club. However Groundwork, Education, Schools and Health are not as prominent in the group as we would like. we had a poor response from residents regarding the Questionnaire. We are still waiting for the Skateboard park, posts, Safety lighting, we did not have much success with Rhiw-Syr-Dafydd. we have had a lot of promises this year and no delivery from various departments of the CCBC. There is a new Co-ordinator staring on the 13th March – but it has to be said the Co-ordinators are up against it as well. The network of Partnerships has asked us to forward our views of the CCBC which we look forward to doing. 8. Secretary’s Report Average attendance for the year was 21. The second half of the year shows a slight fall off. Year on year there was a slight drop of 4 attendees per meeting. But for November in both last year and this year the attendance has averaged 65%. Granville as stated that David, Mike and Roger have worked exceptionally hard this year. 9. Nomination of Officers Richard Jones, Roger Evans, Granville Hale and rob Onions were re-appointed as Officers. They have all done an exceptional job. However, Granville will only be able to carry out six months as Secretary he wishes to concentrate on the Partnership and the Centurion celebrations. 10. Other Business · Rob Onions has a useful list of other Charities · We must register as a Charity and also look at the Insurance · Use Actions, names and dates on future meetings to help drive the group forward. 10. Date Of Next Meeting Wednesday, 5th April 2006 at 6.30pm- Oakdale Community Centre. |
