BACK TO EARTH WITH A BUMP!
Oakdale 12's put up a brave fight against an experienced Tredegar side before going down 28 - 5. The much bigger Tredegar pack made it difficult for Oakdale to win any quality possession and starved of ball the backs were forced to hurry their play and mistakes began to occur. It was difficult to get any patterns into their game but they fought hard and tackled well
The highlight of the game as far as Oakdale were concerned was a superb solo try from last weeks Man of the Match Rhys Dobbs, playing in the centre to cover a blood injury Rhys made a lovely break through the middle of the field, swerving and dodging several players before crossing in the corner.
This weeks Man of the Match was centre/outside half Jacob Cross who made a number of great last ditch try saving tackles which kept Oakdale in the game.
